Personal Bio
Peter lives in Encinitas with his wife and their two daughters, where both he and his wife grew up. Much of his time outside of work is spent with family, staying active, and remaining closely connected to sports. Born in Dallas, Texas, Peter moved to Encinitas at a young age and grew up immersed in athletics. Golf eventually became his focus, earning him an athletic scholarship to UCLA, where he competed on one of the top-ranked teams in the country.
While balancing year-round competition, he earned his degree and was named to the UCLA Director’s Honor Roll. After graduating from UCLA, Peter turned professional and competed internationally, including events on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Canada, and PGA Tour Latinoamérica. Competing as a professional athlete required him to operate as his own business, making financial, tax, and contract decisions while navigating an environment where good advice was often hard to find.
Those experiences shaped Peter’s perspective on money, planning, and trust. After stepping away from professional golf, he transitioned into financial planning, ultimately joining Bull Oak, a firm aligned with his belief that clients deserve independent, fiduciary advice and a high standard of care.
